Training Administration Manager

Shorcontrol Safety is looking for a Training Administrator Manager. Reporting to the General Manager, the Training Administration Manager will be responsible for a team of administrators who look after all pre and post course documentation associated with our Safety training offerings. The role will also involve liaising with professionals on course development, monitoring and verifying adherence to both our quality system and the external awarding bodies requirements.

Duties of the role:
• Responsibility for the management of all areas of Administration ensuring quality policies and procedures are adhered to.
• Liaising with outside contractors and assisting in course development in order to achieve external certification of training course.
• Preparing monthly KPIs around the administration department’s duties.
• Communication with Tutors such as;
Certificate and CV maintenance
Dealing with any issues on course documentation submitted back from the tutors
Updates to programmes
Updates to procedures around programme delivery
Management of live-remote training

Educational Requirements:

• Level 7 in Learning & Development Practice or equivalent
• Computer literate.

Key Requirements
• Previous administration management experience and/or experience with the training industry will be advantageous
• Experience in training course development
• Dependability, attention to detail and ability to follow / interpret procedures
• Co-operate with all colleagues in a supportive, friendly and professional manner
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Good organisational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.

Hours of work: This is a full time role 9.00 to 5.30 Mon to Fri

Training Administrator

We are looking for a Training Administrator to work at our facilities in Naas Co Kildare . Reporting to the Training Administration Manager, the role will involve processing pre & post paperwork for awarding bodies such as SOLAS, City & Guilds & IOSH, invoicing & administration of training certificates.

Duties of the role:
• Preparing pre-course paperwork for training courses
• Notifying awarding bodies of upcoming courses
• Processing of post course paperwork and uploading to the relevant awarding bodies
• Liaising with tutors for any non-conformances

Educational Requirements:
• Good Leaving Certificate
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel and Outlook).
• Computer literate

Key Requirements
• Dependability, attention to detail and ability to follow / interpret procedures
• Co-operate with all colleagues in a supportive, friendly and professional manner
• Excellent computer/administration skills (Microsoft Office).
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Good organisational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Previous administration experience and/or experience as a SOLAS verifier will be advantageous.

Hours of work: This is a full time role 9.00 to 5.30 Mon to Fri

Service Engineer (Breathing Apparatus)

We are recruiting a Service Engineer to join our existing dynamic and successful team in our Naas Depot, with an excellent opportunity for career development. The role requires mechanical/electrical skills with the ability to work efficiently and effectively and with a strong focus on customer service.

Shorcontrol Safety provides services in the area of personal safety for company employees across a wide range of business sectors. As a member of the team the successful candidate’s role will include service of Breathing Apparatus & Working at Heights PPE. The position will require time in the workshop and occasionally on – site visits to customer premises throughout Ireland to inspect the equipment

Position: Permanent Full Time
Start date: Immediate.
Salary: Open to negotiation and depending on experience.
Hours: 8.00 to 5.00 pm Mon to Friday.

Key Accountabilities:
• Service of Breathing Apparatus and ancillaries
• Service of Working at Heights and Access equipment.

Preferred:
• Mechanical or electrical background.
• IT literate.
• Strong technical, diagnostic and repair skills

Requirements:
