Aims:

This course will enable employers to meet their legal obligations as set out in the safety Health & Welfare at Work(general Applications) Regulations 2007. The comprehensive 3 day course will cover a;; aspects of the Occupational First Aid requirements as outlined by the Health & Safety Authority and Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council.

The course is broken down into 11 units and includes Cardiac First Responder training in automated external defibrillators and administering aspirin for suspected heart attack.
All delegates receive a comprehensive First Aid manual

Module 5 Injury Management and Shock

Module 6 Care of the Unconscious patient

Module 7 Burns and Electrical Injury

Module 8 Hypothermia and hyperthermia

Module 9 & 10 Information management and Communications

Module 11 Wellbeing of the First Aid Responder
