Aims:

The aim of our scaffolding training course is to provide participants with the opportunity to become competent in applying the skills, knowledge, and attitudes associated with the safe erection/dismantling of scaffolding systems.


Course Content:

Scaffolding Course Content:

  • Introduction
  • Construction Site Safety Awareness
  • Health and Safety Legislation
  • Erecting/dismantling of scaffolding systems
  • Tied Scaffold in Tubes & Fittings
  • Propriety Systems Scaffold

Scaffold Course Prerequisites:

  • Be of statutory school leaving age (16 years)
  • Minimum of six months experience working alongside a certified scaffolder
  • Have Manual Handling Certification
  • Two Passport Photographs
  • Safe pass course completed
  • PPS Number
  • PPE(Personal Protective Equipment), i.e. Hard Hat, High Vis Vest, Steel Toe Capped Boots, Gloves.
  • Scaffolders Safety Harness with large hook
  • Scaffolding tool belt consisting of: Box spanner swing over 7/16, Podger, Frog, Measuring Tape & Magnetic Level
